LIFE!!!! Life be life’n don’t it? What do you do when you’re tired and burnt out? Ready to quit? You know the feeling. We have all been there before just ready to give up and say F it. See I’m here to give you the honest truth. Life will either wear you out or you will wear it out. We all know we can’t live life stress-free, life is complicated. We all are going to hit those bumps in the road, we all get tired. So what’s the difference between someone that gives up and someone that keeps going? MINDSET. It is the one character trait that separates the weak from the strong and the poor from the rich. You have to start thinking differently to produce different results. Your mind plays such a significant role in the outcome of your life. We have to let go of the fixed mindset and adopt a growth mindset.
So what is a growth mindset? How do I start to think differently when I am in such a negative space, my mind is everywhere, I am not happy with my life, I’m struggling with relationships, struggling with parenting? What do I do? Where do I begin?
YOU BEGIN HERE!! LIKE LITERALLY HERE. RIGHT NOW!!! READING THIS BLOG WAS THE FIRST STEP!!!! HEAD UP, CHEST OUT!!!!
Self Reflection- Invest in a journal. I want you to really reflect on the good, bad , and the ugly about yourself. Focus on internal and physical traits. Those thoughts and feelings get them down on paper so you can see how you view yourself.
Take Action- Write a list of the things you would like to improve in your life and write a game plan to achieve it. This is where the work happens. Do something each day to achieve your overall end goal.
Get Active- Yes you read that right. Take a yoga class, take a walk, go do some cardio, you can literally do anything. I recommend doing some type of physical activity outdoors. Nature has a way of healing us inside out. Take advantage of it.
These are the things that define a growth mindset!
**and yes I have written all of this and need to take my own advice!
