Rooted in Wellness

Get out of your head and get into your Mind: the element of a person that enables them to be aware of the world and their experiences, to think and feel.

If I could impart any wisdom to you, that would be to allow yourself space.

To create a life worth living and not operate in fear or comparison.

“Wisdom is the principal thing, therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting understanding.” Proverbs 4:7

Like most nice moms, we try to juggle as many tasks as possible.

But, I’m here to tell you, that way of living is unsustainable. Leaving you and your loved ones frustrated. So be kind instead, Saying “no” is a complete answer. To be the person you were destined to be, you must have a plan.

As a woman of Faith, my firm foundation is in Christ Jesus, Amen.

  • Having a support system and prayer, and connecting with other moms, either online or in person has also been a form of emotional self-care.

  • Waking up a bit earlier has been a game-changer. It has reinforced self-worth and created mental discipline.

  • Integrating self-care with daily tasks allows me to find peace and joy.

  • Budgeting and planning for the home; also for myself has allowed me to explore. Enabling me the confidence to start new career paths & create meaningful relationships.

Remember, self-care isn’t selfish. It’s the best form of love, for yourself and others.

So I encourage you, sis. It’s not too late. Start small and be consistent, make self-care a part of your routine, and allow peace and blessing to follow.

Truly, Jamie Harris.
